Our history

We have grown significantly since our beginnings, but the principles that guide us have remained the same.

Absolute started in Kent in 2004. This is how we evolved into a national firm while staying true to the values, relationships and approach that shaped us from the start.

The history of Absolute goes back to 2004, when the founders, Mark Eaton and Spencer Watt, decided to start their own financial services business in Kent.

For the next twelve years it grew on its own and everything Absolute knows about looking after clients was learned in those early years. No other firm joined until 2016, when the business invested to grow and expand across the South East, built on the same principles since day one.

The offices stayed open, with the same local teams in them

Planners stayed with the clients who already knew them

Advice stayed independent, across the whole of the market
